The hotel is centrally located for shopping and restaurants. Right across the major intersection is a shopping complex complete with a lake and well-lit walking trail. Hotel was clean, staff were very friendly, and the free food (appetizers and breakfast) are truly free. Only one computer in the business center (actually just a nook in the lobby) means a wait, but it generally opened up quickly once someone realized you were waiting. It would be nice if you could dim the lights in the fitness center, but the thermostat in there was truly appreciated. Check it out!

Excellent hotel. We had previously stayed at the competition across the street so we had a basis for comparison. We had our miniature schnauzer with us and since we are a family of four, we needed two adjoining rooms on the first floor (for the dog). The front desk was extremely accommodating with this request and the agent went out of her way to get us the right room/bed combination on the first floor. We enjoyed all of the amenities including the exercise room, but I especially liked the free soft drinks in the evenings and the included breakfasts in the morning. I was also pleasantly surprised by the large, flat-screen TVs that were in both rooms! Internet connection was very fast as well. Excellent stay, excellent value. Highly recommended!

This is a very nice place to stay, very close to anything you want to see in Charlotte! My son loves the pool & the evening snacks. My husband likes the free drinks & the hot breakfast choices. Our room was on the end this visit, so it was quiet, but rooms next to the elevator/ice machine get a lot of traffic.Problems- we were there for 2 nights and we had to ask for our trash to be emptied and for clean towels. Also, there is only 1 computer available for public use, so often I had to wait to use it.

Very Pleased
03/29/2007Our first visit. the room and furnishings were very nice. continental breakfast was excellent and varied. evening snacks were a pleasant surprise for the kids.
